Brief
The brief was clear: the client sought an app for their 'Parivaar Meet 2022' event. They aimed to gather essential information from event participants such as passport details, COVID vaccination status, nominee details, emergency contacts, and spouse details through the app. Additionally, they wished to capture user preferences for food and room arrangements.
Solution
We assembled the team for Parivaar Meet 2022 and developed a hybrid mobile app that works seamlessly on both iOS and Android platforms. The app boasts a user-friendly interface, efficient functionality, and appealing aesthetics. Built on Laravel and React Native, the Parivaar Meet 2022 event app offers flexibility and was utilized by over 550 event participants. We provided full backend and frontend support until the conclusion of the event.
Technical build
We developed the hybrid app, compatible with both iOS and Android, using Laravel—an enterprise-scale PHP framework—and React Native—a JavaScript-based mobile app framework.
Here are some key development features:
- Event participant registration using a mobile number within the app.
- Interactive user engagement modules including Family Picture Contests with likes, quizzes, Fastest Finger First, polls, and upload galleries.
- Personalized user data such as ticket and visa details, and a Swag Bag for document uploads.
- Push notifications integrated using Firebase to send messages to all app users, selected user groups, or specific device platforms (Android/iOS).

- Itinerary, speaker profiles, and help desk.

- My profile, my requests, my Swag Bag, and my ticket and visa.
